Historical Note

The Tennessee Tech University Department of History and Political Sciences split into the Department of History and the Department of Political Science in 1971.

The Department of Political Science was later combined with the Department of Sociology into the Department of Sociology and Political Science.

Preprocessing notes: The folder titled "teacher load and enrollment" is the class schedule before it was printed from 1960-1968. See bulletins for inforamtion regarding this after.

The THEC index and minutes give details on faculty hiring and leave, building construction and naming.
