Historical Note
As of 2021, the Tennessee Tech University Office of International Education provides admissions services for international undergraduate and DACA undergraduate applicants. The office also provides undergraduate and graduate international students, and visiting scholars with immigration services.
The office was originally founded as the Office of International Affairs. By November 2012, the university changed the name to Office of International Education. According to the 2017-2018 Undergraduate Bulletin, the Tennessee Tech University Office of International Education was responsible for international undergraduate admissions and provides international students and scholars with immigration services and community programming. The office also coordinated study abroad programs for students.
By January 2018, the university moved the Office of International Education from Academic Affairs to Enrollment Management and Career Placement. By the publication of the 2020-2021 catalog, the university moved the office's study abroad functions into a new Study Abroad Office under Academic Affairs.
