Biography

Thomas Alva Early served as President of Tennessee Polytechnic Institute from 1916 to 1920.

He was born on August 28, 1881 near Water Valley, Mississippi. He graduated from the University of Georgia. He married Katurah Ophelia Christopher in 1912.
