Biography

A. C. Clark grew up in Clay County, Tennessee. Clark enrolled in Tennessee Tech University for the 1941-42 academic year and left to serve in the U.S. Army during World War II. In 1948, he graduated from Tennessee Tech University and married Katherine Terry.
