Content Description
Dr. Richard “Ric” Finch joined the faculty at Tennessee Tech University in 1975, having earned his Bachelor’s (1965) and Master’s (1967) of Science in Geology (1965) from Vanderbilt University and his PhD University of Texas at Austin. Just prior to joining Tech, he worked as an exploration geologist in Central America. This collection consists of over 3400 slides and 5 negative film strips, of some of his own field study and others of Tech field trips between 1975 and 1996 stretching from Canada to Central America, highlighting various geologic structures.
