A poster for Dr. Leila al-Imad's talk about the Druze, a group that has been around for about a millennia within the Middle East. Their beliefs developed out of Ismaili Islam, but most Druze do not identify as Muslim. Dr. al-Imad is an associate professor of history at East Tennessee State University and she is the author of "The Fatimid Vizirate, 969-1172." She specializes in Middle Eastern History and the History of Islam. The talk itself was on Tuesday, October 1, likely specifically 2019, in Johnson Hall Auditorium.
