Content Description
There are 36 black and white photographs in one folder. There is one photograph of Dixie College. One photograph of West Hall (Bartoo Hall) and South Hall. Most of the photographs are of the Engineering Building, engineering students, and the electronics laboratory at Tennessee Polytechnic Institute during the mid-1950's. There are several photographs of Max Kinslow (1934-1981). He graduated from T.P.I. in 1956, with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was the son of Professor Ray Kinslow who taught Engineering at T.P.I. and Tennessee Technological University. There is one photograph of mechanical engineering students who went on a field trip to Dupont Cellophane Plant in Old Hickory, Tennessee, in May 1955. There are two photographs of J. M. Henderson and other deans and department heads who attended a conference at the U.S. Naval Ordnance Laboratory in Maryland, December 27, 1956. There are two photographs of the Tennessee Technological University Married Students Apartments.
