Biographical / Historical
Founded in 1959 by Dorothy Price Pennebaker and her colleagues, the Tennessee Tech chapter of the American Association of University Professors works to advocate for the academic faculty of Tennessee Tech’s campus. Its 40 members (as of 2018) meet once a month in order to discuss faculty concerns and issues, specifically topics surrounding shared governance, tenure, and academic freedom
