Content Description
This collection contains photographs of people, buildings, and events at Tennessee Technological University. Some of the photographs are originals and others are copies of photographs from an earlier period. The photographs were used in various publications and announcements. There are numerous pictures of alumni printed in the Alumnus.

Biographical / Historical
Hix Stubblefield was an English Department faculty member at Tennessee Technological University. He taught journalism and advised student publications including the student newspaper, the Oracle, and the yearbook, the Eagle. He was named to the Honor Roll of Advisors by the National Council of College Publication Advisors in 1975 for his work with student publications. Hix Stubblefield was married to Ann Blair Stubblefield, who was also a faculty member in the English Department at Tennessee Tech. He retired in 1999 after teaching for 37 years.
