Biographical / Historical
Planning and Finance was responsible for administering the operating budget of over $100 million, including managing employee services and benefits and serving as the University's liaison for the bookstore and dining services operations. It oversees the campus maintenance across 235 acres and eighty-seven buildings. The major areas in the division include Facilities and Business Services, Financial Services, Human Resource Services, Environmental Services, and Information Technology Services.
Their mission was to provide an accessible, pleasant and safe environment for students, faculty and staff; protect the fiscal soundness of the University; provide management and oversight of employment services and benefits; and provide quality auxiliary services to the campus community. As of 2020, the Vice President for Planning and Finance was Dr. Claire Stinson.
