Content Description
Florence Barnes was a rural school teacher who was married to Zebedee Lafayette Shipley (1873-1948). The accession includes parts of a scrapbook containing photographic postcards of classes from Cookeville Collegiate Institute (1913), City School programs and postcards, personal photographs, a T Club banquet invite, Tennessee Polytechnic Institute ephemera, Raymond Shipley in 1924 with basketball players photograph, Central High School men's basketball from 1921, programs, tennis award ribbons, and Barnes and Shipley family photographs. Her daughter Amy Shipley Johnson and son Raymond Shipley, are included in the papers. She is buried in Cookeville City Cemetery.
