This accession contains materials related to cadet William Hanchett's experience at Tennessee Polytechnic Institute during the Air Force College Training Detachment in 1943. The papers contain a newspaper clipping about a runaway wagon halted by cadets in training, two photographs on TPI's campus of the cadets, and transcribed copies of letters from a cadet to his parents during the Army Air Force College Training.
