Content Description
This folder contains photos of First Tennessee Bank board members and employees with Tennessee Tech faculty such as Dean Brown of Engineering, Dean of Health Dr. Flarious Smith, and President Roaden. There are candid photos Dr. Claude Williams, the first radiologist in Cookeville, W.B. Carlon Jr, the president of First Tennessee Bank, and Congressman Joe L. Evins among others. The owner of Budwiser Distributing Co, Estes Williams, is depicted in some photographs. An additional photo of the Frist Tennessee bank board includes Tommy Lynn, its then president. The First Tennessee Bank building was completed in 1977. One additional photo depicts the first Dipsy Doodle drive in on highway 70 West.
