It talks about the "special Sunday chicken dinners," its cleanliness, nearby recreational activities like gold, swimming, hiking, a library, and "picture shows and bridge games," and "no mosquitoes, smoke or dust, and malaria." The brochure also has distances in miles from the Monteagle Hotel to various well known places. The post cards are of the large eagle in front of the Monteagle Hotel that was later stolen and placed on Derryberry Hall's cupola at Tennessee Technological University.
