Knights of Pythias collection
Content Description
This collection contains materials pertaining to the international fraternal organization Knights of Pythias. Several of these items relate to the organization as a whole, while other materials relate to the Knights of Pythias Grand Lodge of Tennessee and the Lily Lodge No. 91 of Cookeville, Tennessee. Among the materials included in the collection are receipts, blank lodge transfer and withdrawal forms, a published volume called Tennessee Knights of Pythias Digest 1893, a card containing lyrics for the Knights of Pythias odes, a pamphlet of by-laws for Lily Lodge, a past chancellor's certificate for a member of Lily Lodge, and a ledger of minutes from meetings and by-laws.
