Biographical / Historical
Robert W. Lowe and his wife, Mary Alice Whitson Lowe, were residents of Cookeville. Robert W. Lowe ran for U.S. Senator in 1938 as Executive Committeeman. He was a member of the Upper Cumberland Chapter of Sons of the American Revolution, and Mary was a member of the Old Walton Road Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution (D. A. R.).
