Records of the former director of the Women's Center and sociology professor, Gretta Stanger. She was employed as a faculty member at Tennessee Tech for nearly 50 years. The records include information regarding the Women's Center, the Commission on the Status of Women, Women in Higher Education in Tennessee, and an outside organization, Women Organizing Women. Also included are her personal collections of both papers related to her membership to the above stated groups and a series of 'subject' files; a collage-type grouping of various topics and periodical clippings.
