Biographical / Historical

O.K. Holladay (1876-1941) was a Circuit Court Judge in Tennessee. He wrote the Tennessee State Wide Prohibition Law. He had law offices in Worth Bryant. He was a member of the School Board and worked as the city recorder, attorney, and mayor, senator, and assistant attorney general . The records include bankruptcy and other case files likely from his time as a lawyer including records of the bankruptcy of the Baxter Mercantile Company in 1929.
