Content Description From the Collection:

These are materials acquired initially by Christine Jones during her course of work as a genealogist in Tennessee Tech archives. They include copies and originals of materials dealing with counties, notable families, and a variety of historical topics dealing with the Upper Cumberland. Subject files continue to be added from ongoing acquisitions. This collection also includes numerous scrapbooks from Thomas Jefferson Barnes relating to his family genealogy and dating from 1883-1986.

Scope and Contents From the Collection: This collection is comprised of various newsletters and publications distributed from Tennessee Technological University as well as other institutions in or relevant to the Upper Cumberland area, which date from 1951 through 2020, with the bulk of the records dating from the 1970s through the 2000s. Scope and Contents Box 12 contains four Panhellenic organization manuals (1966, 1967, 1982, 1987, 1995).
