Many of the records relate to the establishment of the college including publications, minutes, receipts, histories, contracts, catalogs, donations, lawsuits, by laws, committees, and the charter. The college was supposed to have a School of the Bible, which never came to fruition. Lawsuits against Jere Whitson’s estate regarding donations for the proposed bible school building are included in the collection.
