The American Association of University Professors: Tennessee Tech Chapter Papers contain materials relating to the local chapter at Tennessee Tech including meeting minutes, chapter newsletters, Tennessee Tech faculty handbooks, the chapter Constitution and By-Laws, faculty rosters, resolutions and both committee and general reports. Additionally, it includes several documents relating to AAUP Tennessee Conferences.

Scope and Contents

This collection consists of documents created by the Faculty Senate including: Agendas and Minutes, Committee Policies and Correspondence, Faculty Handbooks, and various Other Handbooks and Manuals. The first three series (accordingly as listed) are arranged chronologically. Other Handbooks and Manuals are arranged according to their source department. The records range from 1982 to 2019 and consist of 14 boxes.

Scope and Contents The General Faculty Meeting usually occurred three to five times a year and was generally presided over by the university president. Reports would be presented from the University Assembly, the Academic Council, the Administrative Council, the Faculty Senate, along with comments from the president.
