Scope and Contents From the Collection:

The University Assembly consists of the Academic Council and the Administrative Council meeting together as one body. This collection consists of University Assembly, Academic Council, Administrative Council, and finally their combined sub-committee records.

Content Description From the Collection:

These are materials acquired initially by Christine Jones during her course of work as a genealogist in Tennessee Tech archives. They include copies and originals of materials dealing with counties, notable families, and a variety of historical topics dealing with the Upper Cumberland. Subject files continue to be added from ongoing acquisitions. This collection also includes numerous scrapbooks from Thomas Jefferson Barnes relating to his family genealogy and dating from 1883-1986.

Content Description From the Collection: This collection includes various Tennessee Tech programs, pamphlets, fliers, booklets, guides, brochures, and ephemera created by the University. Archives created the collection to deal with various materials that either had no obvious home in University Archives or materials that had provenance at one point, but it was lost over the years.
